Attention Homes, Inc. is a private, non-profit community agency.
We provide a broad range of services to children and adolescents ages 10-17 who have trouble with substance abuse, school failure, intense family conflicts, or other serious problems.

The mission of the Cheyenne Animal Shelter is to enhance the quality of life for animals and people through compassion, respect and education.

For over 30 years, the Cheyenne Animal Shelter has extended the hand of kindness to neglected and abused companion animals in Cheyenne and Laramie County. Today, we are involved in an ever-expanding effort to accomplish a mission that goes beyond sheltering the homeless and unwanted pet population. Our goal is to find a home for every adoptable companion animal brought to our door.

COMEA is a 30-day emergency shelter for men, women, and children. Currently we can accommodate 65 men and women and two families at any given time. Clients at the shelter receive full dinner in the evening and light breakfast in the morning, full access to showers and the free clothing pantry, case management, and free medical attention at the Cheyenne Crossroads Clinic next door.

COMEA also has a Transitional Living Program, which consists of 12 efficiency apartments built on to the shelter. These are occupied by homeless men and women making the transition from homelessness into self-sufficiency.

Since its inception in 1967, Community Action of Laramie County, Inc., (based in Cheyenne, Wyoming) has been at work helping Laramie County children, families and individuals who struggle daily with poverty, homelessness and other crises. MCE is a Non-Profit 501 C-3 Corporation that was founded in 1971 by the Cheyenne Kiwanis Foundation to serve adults with handicaps and developmental disabilities who live in Laramie County. Although services have changed over the years and have recently been expanded to include children, our philosophies and beliefs are still firmly based in services to the individual. Our programs are designed to help individuals live successfully in the community by supporting and building on their skills. Our programs also help them develop and refine new skills in employment, personal interaction, community awareness, social well-being and community living.

Needs, Inc. is a non-profit multi-service agency that has been serving Cheyenne and Laramie County residents in times of crisis for over 35 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with the basic necessities of life and the tools to help them improve their lives. The essential services we provide to our clients include emergency food provision, clothing assistance, referrals to other health and human service agencies, school supplies, holiday and birthday connections, and case planning.
