Our education as Christians is and should be an ongoing part of our faith.  Our understanding of God's Word is deepened as we learn about it in adult life.  God's Word enriches what it reaches, so reach out and grasp it!  We offer many different classes to help suit everyone's schedule.

We gather each Sunday after Fellowship at 10:30am in a continual effort to cover a book in the Bible.

Sunday's in the Adult Class we are covering Jesus' "Sermon on the Mount." Following that we will be looking at "Witness Mercy, and Life Together." These should all prove to be interesting and informative for our walk in the life of faith.

Morning Breakfast Bible Study meets at Perkin’s Restaurant from 6:20 – 7:30 AM on Tuesday mornings. This group also studies a Book of the Bible or related topics. Dates and times are announced in the Sunday bulletin.

Wednesday Noon Bible Study meets at Good Friends on E Lincolnway over the lunch hour starting at 11:30am. This group studies either a Book of the Bible or related topics.

Thursday Evening Bible Study is also held and presented by Pastor Maas in his home at 7pm.

Elder Bible Studies are offered both in Spring and in Fall. These are lead by our Elders and are often topical in nature. The dates and the times will be announced after Sunday Divine Service, and via bulletin and newsletter.

King’s Lectures are day-long lectures offered annually. Seminary professors and other experts are invited to lecture on topics such as Creation, Islam, Revelation, among others. Dates and times will be announced in due course.

Prayer of the Day

To: Moore, OK

Merciful Lord, Bring to us your peace and comfort, assure us you are with us, encourage us in your love, bless us with your strength in the midst of things we cannot understand. As we see the devastation and death in Oklahoma remind us that you are a source of strength, resolve and power as you move us to lean upon you. As we see the hurt of those who lost loved ones and relate to their sorrow may we recall you yourself lost a Son and know the anguish that the death of loved ones brings, and through that you are our aid. Help us to find hope and promise in you and move our eyes to see your comforting hands that uphold people In the midst of turmoil and always. And as your Son rose from the dead and entered the heavenly home, so too do those who have died in the faith and a glorious reunion awaits your people. May that grace you bring be evident in Oklahoma and in our lives as we trust in you. In Jesus name. Amen.
